Level Up to The Best Version of Yourself

Ready to transform into the best version of yourself? If you’re constantly thinking about becoming a different, healthier you, our personalized weight loss plan can help make that vision a reality. We’ll use a science-based approach tailored to your unique needs and guide you step-by-step so you can achieve your goals and level up.

How Does Medical Weight Loss Work:

Many people think they know the best way to lose weight, but since your body changes over time, your approach needs to evolve to stay healthy. Simply tracking calories and working out can be challenging and unsustainable for many. The key is to understand your habits, limits, personality, and lifestyle to create a plan that truly works for you.

A holistic approach is often the most effective. Our clients see the best results when they combine terzepatide with clean eating, supplements and weight training. This comprehensive strategy ensures that all aspects of your well-being are addressed for lasting success. Our goal is to give you a look that you love. Rapid weight loss without weight training and clean eating leads to an undesired look. You can lose weight simply taking the shot, but you may not like the results if you are not incorporating a holistic plan.

What is Tirzepatide and Why Am I Receiving It?

Tirzepatide is a medication designed to mimic the action of two natural hormones in your body. It helps regulate blood sugar by enhancing insulin release after meals and reduces hunger by slowing stomach emptying and signaling fullness to your brain. This medication is prepared in an FDA-regulated pharmacy.

Medication Storage

Keep your medication in the refrigerator when not in use. If you’re traveling, you don’t need to keep it on ice—just refrigerate it once you reach your destination. If the medication has been left out for more than 48 hours, contact Level Up to arrange a replacement, which will be at your expense.

How Often Should I Take My Medication?

Tirzepatide is administered as a weekly injection. You can choose to take it in the morning, afternoon, or evening based on what fits best with your schedule, although it’s recommended to do so on an empty stomach.

What If I Miss a Dose?

No need to worry! You have a 4-day window to take your missed dose and stay on track. If you’re more than 5 days past your dosing date, skip that dose for the week and resume your regular schedule the following week.

Common Side Effects of Tirzepatide

The most frequent side effects are nausea and constipation, though less common issues like indigestion, vomiting, and diarrhea may also occur.

Nausea:

This is the most common side effect and might be linked to eating too much or too little. Ensure you consume at least 1,200 calories daily. Nausea usually resolves within 24-48 hours. If it persists or is severe, contact our office for potential anti-nausea medication.

Constipation Prevention:

  1. Drink plenty of fluids.
  2. Exercise 3-4 times per week.
  3. Consume 25 grams of dietary fiber daily.
  4. Use Metamucil or a stool softener if necessary.

If You’re Already Constipated:

  1. Take over-the-counter Miralax 1-2 times per day until your bowel movements return to normal.
  2. Once regular, discontinue Miralax and follow the prevention tips above.

Diarrhea:

This involves having 3 or more loose or watery stools per day. Although rare, if you experience diarrhea, stay hydrated and contact our office for guidance. Avoid taking another dose of Tirzepatide until you’ve spoken with us.

How Are Refills Managed?

Refills will be discussed with your provider. Follow-up visits are necessary, but many refills can be handled by phone or by filling out our Refill Request Form. You’re responsible for requesting refills, please contact us when you are a three weeks out from needing a refill.
